How to buy computer accessories and hardware in bulk on Dealrs

  1. Post a buy request in the app

Say which computer accessories and hardware you need, the quantity, the condition, how soon and the price you want to pay. Dealrs reviews every request before it goes live.

  2. We find it and get back to you

The Dealrs team finds verified dealers who have what you asked for and gets back to you.

  3. Inspect, then pay the dealer

Getting your parts request right

Parts only help if they fit. Give the exact part number where you can, or the laptop model it's for. For RAM, say the type and form factor (for example DDR4 laptop RAM); for drives, the size, interface and capacity.

For accessories by the carton, say whether you want branded or unbranded, the quantity per pack, and whether you'll accept a mix of colours.

Conditions

Original, compatible, used or pulled?

For parts, the question isn't just new or used. It's also who made the part.

  1. Original (genuine)

Made by the device's brand or its official supplier. Usually the most expensive, and the most likely to fit and last.

    What to check

    • Check packaging and part numbers
    • Compare with a part you know is genuine
    • Test it before you pay

    Check effortMedium

  2. Compatible

Made by a third party to fit. Quality ranges from excellent to poor, so it pays to buy from dealers who stand behind their batches.

    What to check

    • Confirm it fits your exact model
    • Ask about quality and warranty
    • Test a sample before a big order

    Check effortMedium

  3. Used or pulled

Taken out of other machines, for example RAM and drives from upgraded laptops. Often fine, but test each piece.

    What to check

    • Ask which device it came from
    • Ask how it was tested
    • Test each piece yourself

    Check effortHigh

  4. Refurbished

Repaired or reconditioned, common with batteries and chargers. Ask what was replaced and how it was tested.

    What to check

    • Ask who did the work
    • Ask which parts were replaced
    • Agree a return window before you pay
